Speaking & Training Fees

I have been forced to admit that progression in the deterioration of my spine has slowly halted my ability to work. I can now longer claim to deliver timely content creation/editing or training/speaking assignments. There is currently no treatment to halt or reverse this progression. I solicit your prayers and hope for the development of spine rebuilding and regeneration techniques, so this page remains. But I must admit my limitations and no longer solicit assignments.

Presentation fee

4 tiers of audience types per 50 minute presentation, up to 30 attendees:

  1. Train the Trainer  $7,000
  2. Train financial professionals* / improve their competencies   $4,000
  3. Financial advisor/broker Client events / help motivate their clients:  $2,500
  4. Help individuals via not-for-profit & charitable organizations, like military or other retirees:  $50 per attendee, minimum $1,500.

For each additional attendee over 30, add 3%.

Signed book copies at event if pre-ordered:  $15 per copy ($5 off).

Signed copies at event (not pre-ordered), or attendee subsequent orders:  $18 per copy ($2 off).

If attendees desire author to personalize & sign books, kindly specify up to 10 words per book prior the event; no fee.

Presentation fee and travel expense terms:

One-half of above items’ total and all of noted travel items below are due at contracting.  One-half of presentation fee is due within 30 days after presentation.

Prompt payment discount:  Deduct from the second payment a 5% discount on total presentation fees if the net second payment is paid at presentation completion.

Travel Expenses:  Pre-paid to Presenter or hotel as noted below

Under 1 hour’s drive from home:  Travel is free.  See lodging and meals below, as applicable.

Hourly drive fee, for 2nd up to 4th hour:  $100 per hour, incl fractions, pre-paid at contracting.

Air fare if beyond 4 hours:  Pre-paid by client to Presenter at contracting (find lowest fare plus car rental and a reasonable parking estimate; provide quotes), or client booked/guaranteed.

Lodging:  Minimum four-star if travel exceeds 2 hours; booked/guaranteed to hotel by client (therefore, no payment at contracting).  This is one night when presentation(s) is/are on one day.

Meals:  Flat per-diem of $20 per meal that he must purchase; pre-paid to Presenter at contracting.

* Managers accompanied by their representatives will not be considered “trainers” for pricing tier purposes.  However, for tier rates #2 or #3, a $250 “train trainer added value” fee is charged for each attendee whose primary function is training or coaching.  If a very large or a mixed attendee-type group is to be served, the fee is open to reasonable adjustment.
